| Position Description: |
Transcribes, proofreads and edits complex technical, medical, and dental reports for a broad range of clinical specialties to document patient care using machine dictation and word processing equipment. Accountable for accurate transcription of all dictated medical reports. | |
| Qualifications: | High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of a comprehensive medical transcription course or prior acute care transcription experience, CMT credential and previous speech recognition editing preferred. | |
