C. Nic Moga, MD
C. Nic Moga, MD is a native of Minnesota, growing up in St. Paul. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2001. He then pursued his Ob/Gyn residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, finishing his training in June of 2005. He is board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Moga is a Mayo Health System OB/GYN Physician.
John T. Anderson, MD
John T. Anderson, MD is board certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota where he completed both his undergraduate training and medical school. Dr. Anderson served his internship at Hennepin County Medical Center and completed residency training at the University of Minnesota. His special interests include joint reconstruction and replacement, minimally invasive joint replacement, shoulder surgery, sports medicine, knee and hip surgery and fracture care.
Mark Arnesen, MD
Mark Arnesen, MD is board certified through the National Board of Medical Examiners (1977) as well as the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (1980). He completed his undergraduate degree in chemistry at Carleton College in Northfield and attended medical school at Mayo Medical School in Rochester. Dr. Arnesen completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Washington Affiliated Hospitals in Seattle. During the time of this residency, he also served in the military as a lieutenant commander of the United States Public Health Service. His special interests include gynecologic pathology, neuropathology, coagulation and molecular pathology.
Jason Becker, MD
Jason Becker, MD is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and the University of Minnesota Medical School. After completing his doctorate in primary care, he fulfilled residency requirements at North Memorial Medical Center. Before joining the emergency staff at Queen of Peace, Dr. Becker was a family medicine provider at New Prague Medical Clinic.
Gail Bender, MD
Gail Bender, MD is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School, at which she also completed her residency and internship. Dr. Bender has worked independently as an oncologist for 26 years. She loves getting to know her patients personally and works with each one to craft an individualized treatment plan that is right for them. She is board certified in oncology.

Daniel Berg, MD
A New Prague native, Daniel Berg, MD has come home to practice medicine. In 2001, he joined Parkview Medical Clinic where his father Dr. John Berg and brother Dr. Mark Berg are on staff. Dr. Berg is a Family Practice Physician, seeing patients of all ages.
Born at Queen of Peace Hospital, Dr. Berg is coming full circle as he aligns with the Hospital through his practice. He enjoys the opportunities to meet new families and get reacquainted with others.
Dr. Berg graduated from New Prague High School and received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. He completed his residency at Hennepin County Medical Center.
Joining two family members in the practice, Dr. Berg admits, is somewhat unique. He enjoys the exchange of ideas and support he receives from both his brother and his dad. Dr. Berg and his wife Tara live in New Prague.
John Berg, MD
Pediatrics, obstetrics and sports medicine are favorite areas of family practice for John Berg, MD. He has practiced medicine in New Prague for more than 30 years. Dr. Berg currently practices at Parkview Medical Clinic.
Dr. Berg received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Minnesota and completed his internship and residency at Bethesda Hospital in St. Paul. He entered family practice because it allows him to get to know and care for entire families on a continuing basis.
A past president of the Southern Minnesota Medical Association, Dr. Berg currently serves as Le Sueur County Coroner. He is also a past president of the Scott-Carver and Nicollet-Le Sueur County Medical Societies and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Health Care Evaluation. Dr. Berg has been a county medical society delegate to the Minnesota Medical Association for the past 30 years.
Dr. Berg has coached youth wrestling for almost three decades and is currently involved as an assistant varsity coach at New Prague High School. He received the Distinguished Service Award from the Minnesota State High School Athletic Directors Association. He also served as a state tournament physician for the Minnesota State High School League for almost 20 years. Dr. Berg and his wife, Ann, have four grown children.
Mark Berg, MD
Mark Berg, MD enjoys many areas of family practice — specifically obstetrics, pediatrics, geriatrics, sports medicine, and preventive care. He began his practice at Parkview Medical Clinic in 1998, joining his father, Dr. John Berg, and Dr. Carl Burkland. His brother, Dr. Dan Berg, also joined the clinic medical staff in 2001. Dr. Berg is currently serving on the Queen of Peace Hospital Board of Directors.
Dr. Berg earned a degree in physics, summa cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology and graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School. His residency was completed at Hennepin County Medical Center.
He is a member of the Minnesota Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians. He volunteers as a tournament physician for the Minnesota State High School State Wrestling and Track/Field Tournaments.
Dr. Berg and his wife, Julie, have two sons and one daughter.
John Bernhardson, MD
John Bernhardson, MD is certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine. He attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Thereafter, Dr. Bernhardson completed post-graduate training in internal medicine at the University of Iowa in Des Moines and obtained an MBA in Medical Group Management through the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. Dr. Bernhardson's clinical interests include general medicine/cardiology and geriatric medicine.
Robert Brandjord, D.D.S.
Robert Brandjord, D.D.S. completed his undergraduate training from Concordia College in Moorhead and later attended dental school at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Brandjord completed residency programs at Macomb Hospitals in Detroit and at Children's Hospital of Michigan. He is board certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery and was the 2005-2006 president of the American Dental Association.
Hannelore A. Brucker, MD
Hannelore A. Brucker, MD, graduated from the University of Tuebingen medical school in Germany. She received internal medicine training in Dearborn, Michigan and at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. Dr. Brucker is board certified in internal medicine. She is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. She was elected a Scientific Fellow by the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. Dr. Brucker has been a practicing allergist in Minneapolis and Edina since 1983.
Carl Burkland, MD
Carl Burkland, MD enjoys being involved in family medicine and finds the greatest challenges and satisfaction in the more complex medical cases of his patients.
He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and received a master's degree from the University of California, Davis. He received his medical degree from the University of Iowa School of Medicine. Dr. Burkland completed a Family Practice residency at St. Paul Ramsey Hospital, St. Paul.
A Board-certified Family Practice Physician, he is also the Queen of Peace Medical Representative to the Hennepin County Medical Society Board of Directors.
Dr. Burkland currently practices at Parkview Medical Clinic. Dr. Burkland and his wife, Kathie, have two grown children — a daughter and a son.
Bret A. Cardwell, MD
Bret A. Cardwell, MD is board certified in general surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota where he completed his undergraduate training and medical school. Thereafter, Dr. Cardwell completed a general and trauma surgery residency through Hennepin County Medical Center and was in private practice from 2000 to 2005.
Dr. Cardwell has been seeing patients in New Prague since 2000 and became Queen of Peace Hospital's full-time general surgeon in 2005.
John Cervenka, MD
John Cervenka, MD chose family practice because it gives him the chance to provide medical care to patients throughout all stages of their lives — from childhood to parenthood and beyond.
Dr. Cervenka received his bachelor of science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his master of science degree from UCLA. He earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota and completed his residency in the Family Practice Program at Bethesda Lutheran Hospital, St. Paul. He is board-certified by the American Academy of Family Medicine and has practiced medicine in New Prague since 1971.
Dr. Cervenka's professional affiliations include the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Minnesota State Medical Association. Dr. Cervenka practices at the New Prague Medical Clinic.
Dr. Cervenka and his wife, Paulette, have two grown daughters.
Richard Cervenka, D.P.M.
Richard Cervenka, D.P.M. is board certified in foot surgery and podiatric medicine. He completed his undergraduate training in biology/chemistry at the University of Illinois in Chicago and went on to receive his medical degree from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Cervenka specializes in diabetic foot care, arthritic foot and ankle deformities and chronic foot ankle and foot pain, and also cares for patients with painful ingrown nails, plantar warts and sports problems caused by the foot and ankle.
Cecil Chally, MD
A native of North Dakota, Cecil Chally, MD finished his undergraduate degree at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. He began his medical training at the University of North Dakota Medical School and completed at Harvard Medical School. He returned to Minnesota to perform his internship, residency and fellowship at the University of Minnesota Hospitals in Minneapolis.
Dr. Chally is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. He has participated in research studies sponsored by the National Institutes of Health on the effects of diet on the growth of the colon polyps. His special interests in gastroenterology include: esophageal and inflammatory bowel disease and colonoscopy.
Jean Craig, MD
Jean Craig, MD received her bachelor's degree from St. Olaf College and obtained her medical degree from the Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City. She completed an extensive residency program through Quad Cities Genesis Family Medicine in Davenport, Iowa.
Dr. Craig currently practices at Parkview Medical Clinic. She is fluent in Spanish and has traveled to Peru for medical mission work. She and her husband reside in New Prague.
Lina Daugela, MD
Lina Daugela, MD joined Belle Plaine Clinic in November 2009 after completing her residency at the University of North Dakota. A native of Lithuania, Dr. Daugela completed medical school in 1992 at Kaunas University, Lithuania. In 2001 she earned her Ph.D from the Gifu University Graduate School of Medicine in Japan. She has been a member the American Academy of Family Physicians since 2006. Dr. Daugela and her husband live in Savage. Her interests include gardening, travel and the arts.
Thomas Dressel, MD
Thomas Dressel, MD obtained his pre med degree from Stanford University after five years in the US Army Reserves. He went on to complete his medical school training at the University of Minnesota and graduated in 1974. Dr. Dressel interned at Hennepin County Medical Center and finished a residency program in general surgery at the University of Minnesota, after which he completed a plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship in Norfolk, VA.
Paul T. Fadden, MD
Paul T. Fadden, MD completed his undergraduate degree in chemistry at Macalester College and received his doctorate at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. Dr. Fadden fulfilled his post graduate training through an internship in the department of surgery at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and a residency in urology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. His clinical interests include cancer of the kidney, prostate and bladder. Dr. Fadden is board certified in urology.
Eric Gage, MD
Eric Gage, MD is board certified through the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He obtained his undergraduate degree through Calvin College in Michigan and completed his doctorate at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Tennessee. Dr. Gage satisfied his residency requirements in at Hennepin County Medical Center in the emergency medicine department, an area of which he is specially trained.
Eugene Gullingsrud, MD
Eugene Gullingsrud, MD is an experienced cataract and refractive surgeon, specializing in LASIK vision correction and deluxe cataract lens implantation. Dr. Gullingsrud is an Honors graduate of Stanford University and the University of Minnesota Medical School. Dr. Gullingsrud has won several awards, including the Prevention of Blindness Award by the Sight and Hearing Association and the Physician's Recognition Award by the American Medical Association. He has been recognized as a Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine "Top Doc" and one of "America's Top Ophthalmologists."
Dr. Gullingsrud is a board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a lecturer and instructor for the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Tim Halloran, MD
Some of you might recognize Tim Halloran, MD from his younger days. He grew up right here between the communities of Belle Plaine and Le Sueur. In his work in family practice, he is proud to have the opportunity to take care of patients and their families in this area.
Dr. Halloran received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Minnesota. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Halloran practices at the Le Sueur Medical Clinic. Active in the community with such endeavors as Boy Scouts and Dollars for Scholars, he and his wife, Sue, have three children.
Heather Hamernick, MD
Heather Hamernick, MD graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 2007 with residency training at Saint John's Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program in St. Paul, MN. Dr. Hamernick practices at Parkview Medical Clinic in New Prague.
John Heller, MD
John Heller, MD is certified by the American Board of Urology. After completing his undergraduate degree at Yale University, he went on to obtain his doctorate degree from the University of Rochester in New York and soon after fulfilled his residency requirements at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Heller's clinical interests include the treatment of incontinence, kidney stones and prostate disease.
Marty Herrmann, MD
A native of Montgomery, Marty Herrmann, MD graduated from St. John's University, Collegeville, Minnesota, in 1986 and from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1990.
During his third year of medical school, he participated in the Rural Physician Associate Program (RPAP), practicing with a physician group in Little Falls, Minnesota. He completed his Family Practice residency with the Sioux Falls Family Practice Residency Program at the University of South Dakota School of Medicine. Dr. Herrmann was elected Chief Resident of his residency program in 1992-93.
Dr. Herrmann practices at the Montgomery Medical Clinic. He is certified by the American Academy of Family Medicine and the South Dakota Academy of Family Physicians and is a member of the American Medical Association. Professional memberships include the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the South Dakota Academy of Family Physicians. He and his wife, Anna, have four children.
William Hession, MD
William Hession, MD, FACC majored in chemical engineering during his studies at Princeton University in New York and later received his doctorate from the New York School of Medicine. He completed a residency and internship program at Strong Memorial Hospital in New York and came to Minnesota to undergo his fellowship training in cardiology at the University of Minnesota Hospitals. Dr. Hession is board certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine and in Cardiovascular Diseases.
Bruce Idelkope, MD
Bruce Idelkope, MD enjoys interacting with and educating patients to provide them with more insight and control of their lives. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota medical school, at which he also performed his internship and residency as well as at St. Louis University. He is board certified in neurology and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and American Medical Association. His interests include neurovascular disease, rehabilitation and spine disorders of the back and neck.
P. Jaya, MD
P. Jaya, MD joined the Queen of Peace Clinics staff in 2008. Upon obtaining her medical degree from the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka, Dr. Jaya worked at hospitals in Sri Lanka before emigrating to the United States. She fulfilled her residency requirements through Mercy/Mayo Family Practice in Des Moines, Iowa. She is a member of American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Jaya lives in New Prague with her husband and two children. She enjoys reading and spending time with family.

Marlene Johnson, MA, CCC-A
Marlene Johnson, MA, CCC-A is board certified in Audiology Clinical Competence. She received her undergraduate degree from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and her master's degree in Audiology from the University of Minnesota. After her schooling, Marlene completed an internship with the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics. She is a member of the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association and her clinical interests include hearing aids and balance testing.
Charles Jones, MD
Charles Jones, MD is a hospital-based consulting physician at Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague. He is board certified in the practice of Internal Medicine, providing both inpatient and outpatient consultations. Dr. Jones is also board certified in Sleep Medicine and is the medical director of the sleep medicine program at Queen of Peace, specializing in the evaluation and management of the full range of adult sleep disorders including insomnia, narcolepsy and obstructive sleep apnea.
Dr. Jones earned a degree in biology at Macalester College in St. Paul after which he attended the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis. His internship and residency were at the U of M Hospitals in the Twin Cities as well. After 24 years as a general internist in Austin, Minnesota, he moved to his current position in July of 2006.
Richard E. Karulf, MD
Richard E. Karulf, MD is board certified through the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Dr. Karulf majored in physics during his studies at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado, and later received his doctorate from the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed a residency and internship program at Wright State University School of Medicine in Ohio and thereafter began a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Massachusetts. Dr. Karulf's special interests include caring for patients with colon cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and fecal incontinence.
Salim Kathawalla, MD
Salim Kathawalla, MD is a graduate of Bombay University and Grant Medical College in Bombay. He completed an internal medicine internship at Case Western University and a pulmonary medicine fellowship at Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Kathawalla is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Pulmonary Medicine and the American Board of Critical Care Medicine. His clinical interests include sleep medicine and obstructive sleep apnea, surgical therapy for emphysema and cardiopulmonary exercise testing.
Abraham Kern, MD
Abraham Kern, MD underwent medical training and graduated from Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. He completed a General Surgery internship at Northwestern University Medical Center and a residency in Urology at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners.
Stephanie Kivi, MD
A native of New Prague, Stephanie Kivi, MD joined the Montgomery Medical Clinic staff in 1997.
Dr. Kivi received her bachelor's degree from the College of St. Thomas and her medical degree from the University of Minnesota. She completed her medical training as Chief Resident of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Fontana, California.
Dr. Kivi is board-certified by the American Academy of Family Medicine. A member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, she also serves as an associate professor for the University of Minnesota Medical School.
Dr. Kivi practices at the Montgomery Medical Clinic, has three children, and lives in New Prague.
Steven Kivi, MD
Steven Kivi, MD pursued his interest in family practice because of the variety it offers. He enjoys sports medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics, cardiac care, and geriatrics.
Dr. Kivi joined the New Prague Medical Clinic staff in 1999. A native of Eagan, he graduated from Burnsville High School and earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Kivi completed his internship in Sioux Falls and then worked as a medical officer with the U.S. Marine Corps. His residency was done at Fairview-University Medical Center, Minneapolis.

Stanley Kurisko, MD
Stanley Kurisko, MD went to medical school at the University of Ottawa School of Medicine in Ontario. He completed a family medicine residency at the University of Ottawa and a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. Dr. Kurisko also has fellowship training in neuroradiology through the University of Calgary in Alberta. He is currently employed at Consulting Radiologists, Ltd.
Meng Lim, MD
Meng Lim, MD joined the Queen of Peace Clinics staff in 2001. In that time, he has focused on what he enjoys most about practicing medicine: caring for entire families and settling into the community.
Upon earning his medical degree, Dr. Lim completed his internship and residency at the University of Arkansas. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Lim enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and children.
Richard L. Lindstrom, MD
Richard L. Lindstrom, MD is a board-certified opthalmologist. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota where he obtained an undergraduate degree as well as a doctorate degree in medicine. Dr. Lindstrom completed his residency at the University of Minnesota and extended his fellowship training at Mary Shield Hospital in Dallas and as a Heed Fellow at University Hospitals in Salt Lake City. The founder of Minnesota Eye Consultants, Dr. Lindstrom is an internationally recognized leader in corneal, cataract, refractive and laser surgery.
Timothy Miller, MD
Timothy Miller, MD is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School, Minneapolis, MN. He completed his residency at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN and is board certified in Family Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Emergency Physicians.
Steven A. Moen, MD
Steven A. Moen, MD completed his undergraduate training at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his internship and residency through the University of Minnesota. He became board certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 2000. Dr. Moen's special interests include hip and knee reconstructive surgery, ACL reconstruction, partial and total knee replacement surgery using minimally invasive techniques and sports medicine.
Jeffrey J. Morken, MD
Jeffrey J. Morken, MD completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Concordia College and received his doctorate at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. Dr. Morken fulfilled his post graduate training through an internship and residency in general surgery at Hennepin County Medical Center and a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at the University of Minnesota. His clinical interests include rectal cancer and laparoscopic surgery for colon and rectal diseases. Dr. Morken is board certified through the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery.
Carter Nichols, MD
Carter Nichols, MD received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin after completing undergraduate studies in physics and astronomy at Colgate University in New York. He served his internship at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Milwaukee and his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin Eye institute.
Dr. Nichols is board-certified and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and specializes in Anterior Segment surgery including cataract surgery and LASIK vision correction.
Jean Nusbaum, MD
Jean Nusbaum, MD is board certified with the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Anesthesiologists.
She earned a degree in biochemical sciences from Harvard University and completed medical school at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Nusbaum served both her internship and residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Nusbaum was commissioned as a lieutenant in the United States Navy in 1989 and is a member of both the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Minnesota Society of Anesthesiologists.
James P. O'Reilly, MD
James P. O'Reilly, MD attended St. Cloud State College for chemistry an psychology and later obtained his medical degree through the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. He went on to satisfy his residency and internship requirements in Michigan at Michigan State University and at Sparrow Hospital in East Lansing. Dr. O'Reilly is board certified in family practice.
Michael O'Rourke, MD
Michael O'Rourke, MD began seeing patients at Parkview Medical Clinic in New Prague in August 2004.
A second-generation family practice physician, Dr. O'Rourke completed his undergraduate work at St. John's University, St. Joseph in 1989. He continued his education at the University of Notre Dame, graduating cum laude in 1992, with a master's degree in finance.
He pursued his medical degree at St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed a surgical internship in 2001. His family practice residency was completed at the Waseca Family Practice Residency Program.
Dr. O'Rourke and his wife Sandra, his high school sweetheart, have five children. The O'Rourke family lives in New Prague.
Meena Palayekar, M.D.
A native of India, Meena Palayekar, M.D. attended medical school and completed her first residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Mumbai. She went on to complete a second residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Drexel University College of Medicine in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 2008. Dr. Palayekar did her Felix-Rutledge fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston in 2008, followed in 2009 by a research fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center in New York.
Frank Razidlo, MD
Frank Razidlo, MD is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians. He obtained his undergraduate and doctorate degrees from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Thereafter, Dr. Razidlo finished a residency program in family practice at Trinity/St. Joseph's Hospital with the University of North Dakota system in Minot.
V. Terry Rhodes, MD
V. Terry Rhodes, MD is board certified through the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (1976).
He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota where he completed both his undergraduate training and medical school. Dr. Rhodes served his internship and residency at the University of Minnesota Hospital.

Scott Schaefer, MD graduated cum laude from DePauw University and obtained his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed his internship at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Minnesota, where he was elected Chief Resident.
Dr. Schaefer sees patients for general ophthalmology services as well as surgical procedures including deluxe cataract implant surgery, refractive surgery, non-cosmetic eyelid surgery and lasers for diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Sherman majored in chemistry at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN and graduated from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. He completed residencies in general surgery and orthopedic surgery at the University of Minnesota and thereafter, he underwent a fellowship in the Department of Orthopedics at UCLA in Los Angeles, CA. Ann Sneiders, MD
Ann Sneiders, MD joins New Prague Medical Clinic from a practice in Washington state. Originally from Minnesota, she is eager to move closer to be with family and to work with children in a thriving community such as New Prague.
Dr. Sneiders received her bachelor's degree in biology from Concordia College and then attended medical school at the University of Minnesota. She completed her pediatric residency at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.

Steven Stein, MD is board certified in neurology and electrodiagnostic medicine. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota where he completed both his undergraduate and medical degrees. His post-graduate training includes an internship/residency at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and a residency through the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. Dr. Tiegs enjoys all aspects of family medicine and has a strong interest in women's health and obstetrics.
Mark A. Urban, MD
Mark A. Urban, MD attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI for undergraduate instruction and medical school. He subsequently completed an internship in general surgery and residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Urban also underwent a hand surgery fellowship through the University of Texas at San Antonio Health Services Center, San Antonio, TX. In 1994, he became certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and recertified in 2004. He also became sub-board certified in hand surgery in 1995. His clinical interests include upper extremity trauma and reconstruction, fractures and hand surgery.

Frank Y. Wei, MD is board certified through the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr. Wei completed his undergraduate training in biology at Harvard University and later received his doctorate from the Ohio State College of Medicine. He completed an internship program at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Ohio and went on to fulfill his residency requirements in the department of physical medicine with the Ohio State University Hospitals.
David Weinberg, MD
David Weinberg, MD is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He is a graduate of the University of Manitoba medical school and performed his internship at Jewish General Hospital in Montreal. Thereafter, Dr. Weinberg finished residency programs in internal medicine at Winnipeg General Hospital, Montefiore Hospital in New York and Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York. Dr. Weinberg specializes in inflammatory bowel disease.
