Belle Plaine Clinic Welcomes New Physician to Staff
(BELLE PLAINE, MN - November 2, 2009) – Belle Plaine Clinic is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Lina Daugela, a new family medicine specialist joining the clinic on November 2, 2009.
A Cannon Valley Clinic – Mayo Health System affiliated physician, Dr. Daugela just completed her residency at the University of North Dakota. "We are very happy to have Dr. Daugela joining us," said Larry Clifford, Southern Metro Medical Clinic administrator. "She is excited to build her family medicine practice here in Belle Plaine."
A native of Lithuania, Dr. Daugela completed medical school in 1992 at Kaunas University, Lithuania. In 2001 she earned her Ph.D from the Gifu University Graduate School of Medicine in Japan. She has been a member the American Academy of Family Physicians since 2006. Dr. Daugela and her husband live in Savage. Her interests include gardening, travel and the arts.
